A simplistic twist of the Rock, Paper, Scissors concept. This game was created for three Game Jams that happened at the same time:

- Weekly Game Jam (Week 154)

- 1-bit Weekend

- ScoreSpace x Alakajam

It also served as an experiment of using the Godot Engine for creating a game (source is available if you want to play around with it, but be warned that the implementation is far from ideal).

You can download an executable for your platform of choice or play it directly in the browser (both keyboard and gamepads are supported).

Install instructions

For Windows just run the executable. Linux might need to make the file executable first, but after that it should just need to execute it. Since I don't have access to a MacOS machine thís export is untested, so specific instructions are also unknown.

nice concept very fast paced you should have given the player some health too so the game could go on much longer

Thank you for the feedback @Knight2fox! I’ll add player health to the list of game elements that I need to consider adding!

You madlad. 1 game for 3 game jams haha. Impressive. Game needs more impact though like particles and screen shake. Nice game concept. Bullets may need to be bigger to like better hint to the player that even the projectiles obey the rock paper scissors rule (Which I find really really neat btw) :D

Thank you for your comment @trust_me! :D Yes, the game definitely needs more bang but I was giving a go at a different game engine for these game jams so I ended up losing a bunch of time just tracking down documentation on how to do some of the more simpler tasks. For the projectiles, I wanted to keep the resolution fairly small so making them bigger would be hard for the player to dodge (also, I’m not a very good artist so there’s that challenge). Glad you liked the concept!
